Can I convert an HWP file to PDF?
HWP conversion uses an optional server adapter. If the production adapter is not configured, the file is rejected clearly instead of being presented as converted. HWPX and text-based files can be handled in the browser.
Can I trust the AI writing score?
The score is a reference metric built from writing patterns such as sentence length and repetition. It does not identify an author or determine plagiarism, so use it as one input before submitting work.
Are my files or text stored?
Browser processing does not upload files or text. When server HWP conversion or an external AI model is enabled, the selected input is sent only for that request and is not retained by this application. Read the privacy noticefor the current boundary.
Does Document Forge cost anything or need an account?
No. Every tool is free, there is no sign-up, and there is no paid tier. Running costs are intended to be covered by advertising, which loads only after you allow optional cookies. How this site is funded.
Which file types can the browser handle?
HWPX, TXT, Markdown, and HTML are parsed in the page, and existing PDFs open in your browser's own viewer. Legacy binary HWP needs an operator-configured server converter. Read the format guide.
How much smaller can an image get?
A photo straight from a phone or camera usually drops 60 to 90 percent at quality 75, and converting to WebP saves more again. An image that is already optimised may not shrink at all. The tool measures the actual result and hands back the original if re-encoding would make it bigger. Read the image guide.
Why did zipping my files barely save anything?
Because they were already compressed. JPEG, PNG, MP4, MP3, PDF, DOCX, XLSX and HWPX all contain compressed data, so a ZIP has almost nothing left to remove. ZIP still helps for text, CSV, logs, BMP and SVG, and for bundling many files into one download. Read the file size guide.
